Tihar 2025 was graciously celebrated on October 23 at the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) headquarters, UN House, in collaboration with the Nepal Formed Police Unit-1 (NEPFPU-1), currently deployed under UNMISS.

On behalf of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) South Sudan team, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the Commander and all members of NEPFPU-1 for their kind invitation and warm hospitality on this special occasion. It was a great honor to participate in the celebration of one of Nepal’s most significant festivals, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness and the spirit of unity within our community abroad.
